Description:
Workshop Length: One Day

Purpose: To provide participants with additional information on the specific legislation that affects ONA members and their professional responsibility. The participants will develop a deeper understanding of the Professional Responsibility Complaint process up to an including third party review.

Focus:

  • Legislation applicable to Professional Responsibility
  • Application of CNO standards to support Professional Responsibility Complaint
  • Review of Professional Responsibility Complaint process, forms, action plans and collective agreement language
  • Strategies for evaluating and addressing professional practice issues
  • Developing communication plans for sharing information and outcomes
Who Should Attend: This program is designed for general membership and Bargaining Unit Executive members who have a basic knowledge of Improper Workload Process. Its objectives may be accomplished by attendance at the “Professional Responsibility Workload Reporting Process” workshop.
