Description:
Please note: This is a videoconference workshop.
Workshop Length: One Day
Purpose: To prepare participants to fulfill their role on the bargaining unit negotiating team, focusing on their roles and responsibilities and working with their LRO on proposal development.
Focus:
- Negotiating process
- Specific roles and responsibilities of the bargaining unit negotiating team
- Gathering data to support demonstrated need
- Building “team”, maintaining relationships and communicating with members throughout the process
- Initiation of proposal development with servicing labour relations officer
Who Should Attend: The workshop is designed for negotiating team members and will be most effective if a Bargaining Unit Team participates as a team.
