Community Engagement Projects:

Whether we’re taking care of our patients or our profession, it’s clear that ONA members are passionate about the contribution we make to communities across Ontario.

On Wednesday, June 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., ONA members and staff attending the Provincial Coordinators Meeting will come together to make a difference through local community service projects.

This year, as part of a Canada 150 celebration, our leaders will have two ways to contribute:

1 . Register to roll up your sleeves and transform a shelter or community centre.

2. Donate from a list of 150 wish-list items (coming soon) requested by these community partners to make the experience at these facilities better for the families and children who rely on them.

ONA has chosen local organizations that provide safe havens for women and children that need a hand up. Don’t miss this opportunity to leave your mark in the Niagara community.

Education Day:

The topic for the June PCM Education Day is "Employer Tactics: Tips and Tools." The goal of this session will be to provide leaders with examples of Employer tactics that will inspire them to consider new approaches; and to provide tips, tools and lessons learned that help them contain those tactics or counter with a winning strategy.
