Nursing Week 2020
May 11, 2020
Welcome to Nursing Week 2020!
This year, Nursing Week takes place from May 11- 17. Our theme is: Our Calling: Care, Compassion, Comfort | Notre vocation : soins, compassion, réconfort
The World Health Organization has declared 2020 as The International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife and this year also marks the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale. She became known for her work in caring for casualties during the Crimean War and her visionary advancement for the nursing profession.
Need Nursing Week premiums and gifts? Check out our online vendor, Two Crazy Ladies, for all of your Nursing Week gifts, and get your order in today!
To tie in with this year's Nursing Week theme, we developed the hashtag #ItsMyCalling. Our hope is that our members will take to social media to tell us why they know the profession of nursing is their calling. Click here to read why two of our staff members know nursing is their calling.
Why is nursing your calling? We’d love to hear!
There are two ways you can share your story with us:
- Use #ItsMyCalling on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to share your story with us and all your social media followers.
- Send your story to our Front Lines editor, Ruth Featherstone, at email@example.com.
