ONA is now proceeding with the negotiations process for proxy pay equity. See this media release for ONA’s amazing Supreme Court of Canada win.
We are excited to finally be moving forward to ensure ONA members are granted pay equity maintenance adjustments that were not maintained by their employers. It is our plan to proceed with Central Pay Equity Negotiations for the Participating Nursing Homes.
ONA is seeking front-line members to join the Nursing Homes Central Pay Equity Negotiating Team. If you are interested, please complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form below no later than Friday, December 17 at 1600h (EST).
The team will be composed of three ONA members and one alternate member: at least one member will be a Nurse Practitioner, one member will be a Registered Practical Nurse, and one member will be a Registered Nurse.
Your Regional Vice-President will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the process, to allow you to make an informed decision about participating on the team.
