Take action now: Tell the four provincial leaders that Ontarians need more RNs
May 10, 2018
The Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) and the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) are urging all political parties to commit to making RN staffing a health-care priority by including a promise in their election platforms to immediately post and fill 10,000 RN vacancies. This will begin to fix the deficit in Ontario’s RN workforce and better serve patients. The two organizations are also urging that all new hires in acute care and cancer care hospital be RNs.
To help spread this message to the four political parties, the RNAO has launched an Action Alert email campaign to inform them of the need for more RNs.
Please take a moment and send your message of support now. Better care starts here.
Email the four provincial leaders: Tell them to include the hiring of 10,000 RNs in their election platform.
