Applications for the April 2024 Leadership Summit are now closed. Thanks to all those who expressed interest.
The deadline for submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI) Form is January 26, 2024 @ 12 p.m. ET. Receipt of EOI Form will be acknowledged by email and a follow up with the Local Coordinator will be done to confirm support for your application.
All candidates (and their Local Coordinators) will be notified, by email, of the status of their application no later than February 9, 2024. Successful candidates (and their Local Coordinators) will be advised of the formal registration process once the EOI process has been completed. The following deadlines should be noted:
- Expression of Interest deadline 12 p.m. January 26, 2024
- Position acceptance: 4 p.m. February 29, 2024
- Registration deadline: 4 p.m. March 18, 2024
- Room reservation deadline: 4 p.m. March 18, 2024
Each member accepted into the April 2024 Leadership Summit will be funded provincially for meals and accommodation from noon on Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 at 11:30 a.m. Salary and travel will be the responsibility of the local. Transportation from Pearson to the venue and return will be by shuttle bus and can be requested through the registration process. Attendees will be expected to complete and submit expense forms upon conclusion of the event.
This Leadership Summit is limited to a maximum of 100 registrants in the following split:
- Program One: Building Emotional Intelligence and Trust – 30 members
- Program Two: Strategic Grievance Handling – 35 members
- Program Three: Labour Arbitration Foundations – 35 members
