National Nursing Students' Week 2020!
October 30, 2020
During National Nursing Students' Week (NNSW) we recognize the work and commitment of nursing students across Canada. This year, NNSW runs from November 15-21 and the theme is “Exploring the World of Nursing.” NNSW includes Indigenous Nursing Students' Day which is celebrated on November 15th.
Nursing students are the future of our profession and the advocates and activists of tomorrow. Almost all nursing students in Ontario are automatically affiliate members of ONA. ONA is proud to support and advocate for nursing students and provide opportunities for their engagement and development.
Each Chapter school organizes their own NNSW events and ONA members are encouraged to learn about and support events in their communities. For more information, please contact the NNSW coordinator for the Canadian Nursing Students' Association at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the NNSW Facebook page. This year, due to COVID-19, a slate of online events have been organized throughout the week. Click here for a list of scheduled events.
Visit the Canadian Nursing Students' Association website for news, resources and events for Canada's nursing students.
