ONA has launched a new survey open to all ONA members. This survey will be an essential channel for our members to share information about their experiences — helping to ensure that members are at the heart of what we do as a union. This information will inform ONA’s urgent and long-term plans and advocacy efforts. 

The Members’ Survey is valuable to our members and our union as it provides vital information about our members’ long-term needs, experiences, and concerns.

Information from this survey will help improve services, enhance communication, and develop relevant programs to improve members' experiences and engagement. It provides another channel where members are heard; it helps ensure members are at the heart of what we do as a union.  

This is an important project. The Members' Survey is very different from any other survey members have been asked to complete over the last several years. This survey will uncover vital information about members’ current needs, issues, concerns, and our Union’s well-being. The survey will be conducted every two years moving forward.  

Members can respond via a secure, mobile-friendly, bilingual online survey. The survey will be anonymous as we want our members to speak frankly about their experiences. 

There will be prize draws throughout the survey period. If you are an ONA member with entitlements, all you have to do to be entered to win is complete the survey.  

Big prizes: Three (3) iPhones (14) or a gift card of equivalent value. 

Smaller prizes: Ten (10) ONA shirts.  

The survey officially opened on November 9, 2023, and will close on January 12, 2024.
