TORONTO, ON, November 6, 2023 – More than 900 front-line nurses, health-care professionals and local leaders are celebrating their 50 years of activism and patient advocacy in Ontario as they gather together for the Biennial Convention of the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA).
The registered nurse who wore the 1940s nursing uniform that has featured so prominently in ONA’s 50th anniversary celebrations cared far beyond the bedside.
ONA has partnered with the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) to create community game nights at OHL games across the province in January, February and March 2023. Join in the fun, celebrate ONA’s 50th anniversary and cheer on your home team!
